1 Year Anniversary of Publishing
Say Goodbye to Psoriasis!
September 1, is the 1st Year Anniversay of publishing my ebook, Say Goodbye to Psoriasis! When I wrote the book I had no idea if anyone would buy it. I knew there were millions of people suffering from psoriasis, and that I had made an amazing discovery that cleared my psoriasis in less than a month!
This was phenominal as I had been suffering from severe psoriasis for over 25 years. I figured the best thing I could do to help others with their psoriasis was to write a book, and share my experience and knowledge on the subject.
So I did! I spent about two months writing my book. I was unemployed at the time, so I had plenty of "time" to work on it.
Writing a book isn't necessarily an easy thing to do, but I faced several major challenges besides writing the book. The two main stumbling blocks were I had no money to advertise the book, (major problem) and the "credibility factor", another major problem!
But I was determined to make things work and get my information out to those who needed it! The first month, September 2003, I sold 19 copies. WoooHoooo! Not quite getting rich........ but the feedback from those initial buyers was very positive.
So I kept plugging away, investing 100%+ of my sales back in to marketing the book. Sales increased each month, with the exception of July of this year, when I was on vacation and took a break from my normal marketing plan. This month, August looks like it will be my best month ever!
So obstacle #1 is no longer a problem! I've been able to help thousands of people with their psoriasis by simply reinvesting the income from sales of the book. Each time someone buys my book, they are actually helping others get better too! It's a win - win situation. The person buying my book learns how to successfully treat their psoriasis and become clear and with their payment for my book, I am able to expose it to approximatley 100 more people!
Obstacle #2 is not as big of a problem as in the beginning, but it will always be one! People are generally skeptical, and people with psoriasis are exceptionally skeptical! I understand this as psoriasis is such a frustrating disease. Your doctor tells you that there is no cure. He tries different treatments on you. Some work a little bit, for a short time, and then, before you know it, you are worse then ever!
Fortunately with my treatment it is near 100% effective and as long as you continue the maintenance, which is simple and cheap, you should never have a flare up! You should remain clear for the rest of your life.
The other thing I do to overcome people's skepticism is to offer a 60 day guarantee. Obviously if my method didn't work, I wouldn't be in business a year later. Only one or two people out of 100 request a refund, and I can tell you that those people did not follow anything in my book. Just as doctors have a difficult time getting their patients to follow a treatment regimen, I have the same problem, even though my treatment is easier than anything your doctor would put you through!
Some people just are not willing to do anything that will help their condition. They want to pop a pill and have their psoriasis clear 10 minutes later.......... which would be great, and maybe some day that will be a reality, but it's not today!
So that's the story of year One! It has been successful and I'm looking forward to the second year to be an even greater Success. I also want to thank all of you who did buy a copy of my book and I hope that you too have had the success in clearing your psoriasis that I and so many others have achieved using my treatment method.
SURVEY RESULTS - Updated August 2004
How long have you had psoriasis?
11+ years 55%, 2-5 years 24%, 6-10 years 14%, Less than 1 year 7%
Obviously once you get it, it tends to stick with you, and is hard to get rid of!
I am a: Female 44% Male 56%
Fairly even distribution, although my orders are 60% females. Women are more vain?
My psoriasis coverage is:
11-25% = 30%, less than 10% = 28%, 26-50% = 21%,
51-75% = 15%, greater than 76% = 6%
All over the board here, which is expected. Plus coverage can vary quite a bit from year to year and also during the year due to weather conditions.
I believe people selling psoriasis products are:
trying to help people 41%, in it for the money 34%, have something worthwhile to share 19%, are total scammers 6%, should be hung at high noon 1%.
Nothing real surprising here. Depends how you interpret the results. 34% in it for the money, is that the BIG drug companies or the small, independents like myself? I'm definitely not getting rich! But I have helped a lot of people with a very inexpensive treatment that seems to work better and last longer then anything else available!
I believe my psoriasis will:
be with me forever 32%, clear with proper treatment 43%, go away eventually 9%, drive me crazy 15%.
Well, people are not very optimistic about clearing their psoriasis, but 43% have a positive outlook, which is good. As there is no cure, and may never be, with proper treatment it is possible to keep it under control and minimize the effects by following successful treatments like those found in my book.
Tip of the Month - Psoriasis of the Nail
One of the most difficult areas to treat is the nail area. Psoriasis of the nail causes your nails to become deformed, discolored, and brittle. You may notice a buildup of scale underneath the nail. It can also be very painful! More painful can be the treatment that your doctor recommends which is injecting cortisone beneath the nail.......OUCH!
There is a much easier treatment that really works great! Personally all my nails were in terrible shape. Both finger nails and toe nails. Here's how to clear them up fast and get them healthy once again.
You will need 3 things. Mineral Oil, Q-tips, and some Hair & Nail Supplements. Simply paint your nails two or three times a day with the mineral oil, making sure to get the oil underneath the nail too. Take the recommended dosage of the Hair & Nail supplements and your nails should clear up and be healthy looking in just a week!
